About Us

Providence Plumbing and General Contracting started in Conshohocken, PA in 1985 and is currently based out of the Harleysville/Skippack area, serving Montgomery County and neighboring communities.

Our company was founded by Owner/Operator Michael Galasso, whose family came from Italy in the early 1900’s. His father and grandparents were all in the construction business, and after completing advanced courses, Michael became a Master Plumber in addition to being a General Contractor. Our parent company was Providence Construction, owned by the late Joseph Galasso for over 60 years. Michael’s father taught him impeccable manners and the importance of building everything above standards as if “everything were a church.” Since the start of the company in 1985, Michael has built several custom homes, townhouses and commercial buildings in the Conshohocken, Lafayette Hill, Worcester, and Skippack areas. We offer plumbing services by Master Plumbers as well as design/build options in all areas of home construction, including new kitchens and bathrooms, additions, or a complete remodel.

Providence Plumbing and General Contractors are also equipped to handle any type of plumbing emergency, like broken or frozen pipes as well as dig up jobs to replace sewers or water lines to the street. Michael respects the customer’s time and budget, always showing up as scheduled and completing the job to the customer’s satisfaction.
